0-22 is a series of 23 images that explore the relationship between growth, accumulation and transformation. Its structure, deliberately repetitive, is marked and strengthened by the progressive addition of elements, the teeth, which determine the achievement of a saturation point.
The project was born from the desire to update my personal experience, transforming it into a work capable of opening a dialogue with those who might find themselves counting these elements, seeking a symbolic correspondence with the stages of their own life, such as the age of a child or a moment of personal growth.
23 are in fact the years of my son, metaphorically marked by the growth and fall of his milk teeth.
Teeth that are embodied like seeds in what remains of the pulp of a lemon, a fruit associated with symbols linked to unconditional love and protection.
